What Apex Trading is, in its own description
On its public site (read March 2026), Apex Trading describes a wholesale platform for brands and retailers: inventory management, ordering, a CRM, branded storefronts and a marketplace, with a METRC integration, offered as a flat-rate subscription with no transaction fees, across many states.
A storefront and a CRM are a seller’s tools: the seller sets up the storefront, and the seller keeps the CRM current. Nothing on its public site, as read, describes recording which buyer opened a storefront or what they looked at.
What SeedLink is, and is not
SeedLink is wholesale menu software for licensed cultivators. It reads a cultivator’s live inventory from METRC, turns it into a wholesale menu with one private link per dispensary, and records what each buyer does with that link: the open, the products viewed, what went into the cart and in what quantity, and the order. From an order it creates the METRC child packages on adult-use tags, the transfer template, and the emailed invoice; the cultivator dispatches in METRC Connect, as the state requires.
SeedLink is not an ERP and does not try to be one. It keeps no books, syncs no accounting system, plans no delivery routes, runs no team chat and hosts no public marketplace. A buyer never creates an account: the link is the identity. Rhode Island is the live market; Massachusetts works by request because METRC there behaves the same way.
